Sweet and Spicy BBQ Sauce
Whether you’re having a family get together or a Super Bowl party this sweet and spicy BBQ sauce will tickle their sweet tooth. Then as they’re enjoying the sweetness of the brown sugar and molasses the cayenne pepper will let them know that this is not your ordinary sweet BBQ sauce. This spicy BBQ sauce is used as a marinade for beef, chicken or pork.
Note: Marinate for 2 hours up to overnight.
3/4 cup firm packed brown sugar
1/2 cup of Heinz ketchup
1/3 cup molasses
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 olive oil
3 TBS prepared mustard
3 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 TBS ground black pepper
Combine all the ingredients in blender. Cover. Blend until smooth.
Refrigerate until ready to use.
